Jewellery can make an outfit.

I am very partial to some jewels. In fact I am like a magpie to anything gold. I want the jewellery I wear to capture my personality and say something about me. To me- jewellery can make an outfit. 

My most over worn earrings are a pair from &other stories which were a Christmas present a couple of years ago now from @sophiarosemary and I bet she feels super smug at getting my gift so right!  These are my every day wearings. I sleep in them, shower in them and basically never really take them out and they are still as good as new so I highly recommend them.  I love that the gold disk moves in a fluttery way as I move and often catches the light, causing the person who I may be talking to, to stop, take notice and ask where they are from. 

I have recently come across a brand which seems to capture my whole personality in one. I was kindly gifted a pair of earrings and wore them so much that they then even more kindly, gifted me another pair. I have since gone on to buy a few other pairs.  This is something I love about this job, you often come across brands and designers you wouldn’t have heard of before and it helps me to buy local and independent.

So Wolf and Moon, all their pieces are handmade in London and are designed by….  I am hoping to pop to the studio to see how they work soon.  Their pieces are so individual and really gorgeous as well as being really affordable for such unique pieces.

Sinead, the founder of July child is a true treasure hunter. She is one of the most passionate, bubbly, positive people I have met.  I photograph her products for her so have literally seen the whole collection.  She goes around finding these beautiful creations from designers based in New York, Bali, Austria. My 18th birthday ring. 

This is one of my favourite ever presents and I have worn it for the last 10 years- i never take it off. It was from a local jewellery shop in my hometown. I think getting a beautiful piece of jewellery which will last forever for a special birthday is such a lovely idea. I’m sure it will be a piece which is passed down for generations - or at least I hope so.  

This ring makes my hand look much prettier than it actually is. Haha. I think if this ring says anything about me then it's probably “princess” hahaha.
