Stand 4 socks
"What if socks could change the world"
This is what Josh Turner, the founder of Stand 4 Socks asked himself.
I was recently asked to shoot for Stand 4 Socks. A brand who plan to change the world with a pair of socks. To do this they live by the policy that every purchase will have a positive impact on the world, something they encourage other brands to do too. They currently support 10 of the United Nations 17 goals with the money from your purchases raising money to support :
- Poverty
- safe water
- Gender Equality
- Good Health
- Vaccination giving
- No Hunger
- Quality education
- Climate action
- Life below water
- Life on land
As well as launching a collection for something slightly closer to home, help for the homeless, which we all know is a huge problem in Manchester as well as lots of other cities in the UK.
The help the homeless sock collection works on a buy one, donate one basis. For every pair you buy, Stand 4 give out a pair of thick, antibacterial socks to someone who is homeless.
The homeless range comes in two colours which are fairly neutral, a nice blue grey and a faded red, which could be worn under any outfit unlike Stand 4's usual style which collections of bright and bold patterns
