When life gives you lemons...

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

...Add some honey to it!

Sometimes it seems like nothing goes your way, everything becomes struggle and you wonder what you've done to deserve this.

Here is how I think you can add your honey, to make everything seem a little bit sweeter....[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][thb_gap height="50"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text]Improve yourself, learn a new skill. Learning a new skill helps you feel better, it is you doing something for you however big or small the new skill, it will give you something to focus on, help you get a little head space and switch off from other life distractions. As it will be something you want to do you will find yourself putting all your effort in to it and after you have achieved it or accomplish little mile stones towards your learning, it will boost your confidence and give you satisfaction there for picking up your moral. Learning Spanish has been on my to do list forever the first couple of weeks in to the new year I listen to countless Spanish lesson CDs learn nothing and then that’s it. This year to make it easier for myself I'm going learning one helpful phase a week. How to introduce myself, how to say my age, ask for directions the sort of thing you need when on holiday.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text]Exercise. I don't mean buying a gym membership and spending hours on a tread mill. Exercise can be anything from yoga, Pilates, going for a long walk, speed walking, taking the stairs, a dance class, a hula hooping class, roller blading, trampolining. Anything which takes your fancy. Exercise releases good endorphin's making you feel happier (a bit like chocolate). The hardest part is making your self do it, the best part is feeling great about yourself after.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text] A night in with the girls! When we are feeling a little down it can be easy to start shutting people out, making less effort and just wanting to be by ourselves. The best thing to do in this situation is to arrange a girl’s night. Get all your closest friends over for a giggle, some films, snacks and some wine. Put your favourite songs on super loud and just go crazy. It will soon help you to forget everything on your mind. If the time is right chat through what is bothering you. Your girls will help you work it out and stop you over thinking. Good friends will support you no matter what and pick you right back up when you’re feeling down.[/vc_column_text][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text]Get stuck in to a book Whether it is horror, romance, auto biography’s, crime or factual. Getting your head stuck in to a book can help you to forget what is going on in your own life. You can become so immersed and attached to the characters you are reading about it can give your mind some rest from thinking about whatever is on your mind. Reading is relaxing and will help you to calm down. I love visiting the library, I know very Carrie Bradshaw of me but I love the choice of books you get and it’s free! Unless of course you forget to take them back in time! I love a good Chick Lit, a romance full of laughs, sad moments and love.

In fact I love keeping a diary but its turns more in to a little black book as I only seem to write stuff down when I’m a bit annoyed. Whether you are annoyed at yourself, work, something didn’t go your way, someone in particular. It always help to make sense of things if you write it down. It’s almost like as your write, scribble or type the feelings come out of you on to the page and after you feel a hell of a lot better![/vc_column_text][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][thb_gap height="50"][vc_column_text]I hope what I do helps you, give them a try, they won’t work for everyone but I hope that whatever it is gets better for you soon, even if its just that time of the month!

...and  I hope my 360 degree shots of some lemons, honey and pretty cups cheered you up a bit.
