Things to think about next year...

For me this last year went by far to fast and I feel like I lost myself a little bit… so I have written down some food for thought for myself for the next year ahead. Posting it on here so I can easily check back on it over the year and keep myself on track. I am also really really looking forward to using my Hello Day planner to help me do this weekly and work toward smaller aims.

Call friends to catch up more often - the ones you keep messaging saying you miss?… well make time, even if its with headphones in while tidying the house

Join walking club - get out there, take a camera, enjoy the fresh air and landscapes your surrounding areas have to offer.

Yoga at least once a week - you used to love it so much and you’ve stopped because you “don’t have time” you do have time, make time for you.

Stop working at a reasonable time in the evenings - working till midnight is not ok.. You are not Cinderella

Work from the studio more on “admin” days - You have discovered this year you work best from there so stop working from home and work from your studio

5 new photography clients  - you’ve written them down, now go and get ‘em tiger!

1 test shoot a month - create more of what you what to create. Get those ideas in your head out there for all the world to see.

Be more patient and understanding

Educate yourself more on how to be more sustainable and help the world around you- make sure you consider all the choices you make which will effect the environment

Don’t buy polyester clothing

Read one book a month ( before bed? ) You love it so much try and fit it in to everyday life instead of saving it for holidays.

Stop putting so much pressure on myself and expectations of other people

Visit the park more

Try something new once a month doesn’t have to be big but it has to be something you’ve never done before- plate making, growing a new vegetable, going to a meet ups, meditation, a 1000 piece puzzle etc

Make more time for people - stop saying you’re busy. - that work can wait.

Buy more consciously .. do you really need it?

Finally start that portrait project!

Move more… dance.. Sing and go let go

Write stuff down - Things you’ve done, nice things people have said etc pop it in a jar to read at the end of the year.

Save as much as possible so you can finally take that trip to Peru!
